Big Blue Blob (Paperback)by Phil Henry

Product Information

Blue is... well, a blob. But is that who he is? Or can he be something else?

Unsure of his place in the world, Blue sets off to ask his colourful friends for help. Red, Orange, Yellow, Green and Purple each share their own wisdom, helping Blue to believe in himself and discover that there is a rainbow of possibilities inside everyone.

This joyful picture book, written by Phil Henry and illustrated by his seven-year-old niece Isabelle, explores identity, friendship, creativity and self-belief.

'Wow, wow, wow! The story is incredible... well written, with adorable illustrations. I know this story is going to be a favourite at work!' (Nursery practitioner)

'My son had a visit to his school and he was talking non-stop about the book, so I had to buy it. We've read it each night since it arrived!' (Parent)

'Such an amazing read, looking forward to more in the series.' (Parent)

'Excellent book, my 10-year-old loved it.' (Parent)

Isabelle's child's-eye artwork gives Blue's world a fresh and authentic feel, and the fun carries on after the story ends. This new edition adds four activity pages: ideas for drawing and making a new friend for Blue, questions to talk about together, a hunt back through the pictures and a colour hunt around the home. There is nothing to write in, so the book can be shared and enjoyed again and again.

Perfect for bedtime, early readers and the classroom, Big Blue Blob is a thoughtful, personal gift for any child who loves colour, drawing and stories.
