You can also write with a pen, erase with your palm and move objects with your finger without having to press buttons, access on-screen menus or replace tools in the Pen Tray. Our Touch Recognition feature makes it possible.

With SMART Notebook software, which comes with all SMART Board interactive whiteboards, you can capture all of your notes, screenshots, images and videos to a single file that can be opened in both Windows and Macintosh operating systems. Notes and multimedia can be saved as objects that can be manipulated, reorganised and reused. You can also save digital notes directly into several software applications including Microsoft Windows versions of PowerPoint, Word and Excel, Adobe Acrobat and AutoCAD software. SMART Notebook even enables you to email saved files to students or colleagues at any time during your lesson. And you canupload your favourite SMART Notebook lessons to the SMART Exchange website so that your colleagues can find them quickly and easily using our custom search engine.
